Axica Recruitment are working with a global IT business who are in need of an OpenSource/Webdesk (LAMP) System Administrator. The OpenSource System Administrator will be bilingual (French/English) and happy to work an initial 3 month contract (3 years worth of work) base in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities:

  • Administer OpenSource/Webdesk Infrastructures;
  • Assure migration of  Webdesk infrastructures (middle aspects);
  • Analyse and resolve Webdesk incidents and requests;
  • Familiar with security aspects.

Your skills and experience:

  • You can prove 1-3 years experience in a similar role;
  • You have a good working knowledge of ITIL processes (Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management);
  • You have experience in Web Server Service (static & dynamic pages, publishing);
  • You have an excellent working knowledge of OpenSource (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Tomcat)
  • Knowledge of Search Engine (IDOL7) is an asset, but not mandatory;
  • You have experience in Scripting;
  • You act as an outstanding team-player and can work independently;
  • You have an outstanding customer-oriented attitude, you are service-minded and result-driven;
  • You have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills and a creative and problem-solving attitude;
  • You are fluent in English and French, both spoken and written;
