Axica Recruitment are working with a global IT business who are in need of an OpenSource/Webdesk (LAMP) System Administrator. The OpenSource System Administrator will be bilingual (French/English) and happy to work an initial 3 month contract (3 years worth of work) base in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
- Administer OpenSource/Webdesk Infrastructures;
- Assure migration of Webdesk infrastructures (middle aspects);
- Analyse and resolve Webdesk incidents and requests;
- Familiar with security aspects.
Your skills and experience:
- You can prove 1-3 years experience in a similar role;
- You have a good working knowledge of ITIL processes (Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management);
- You have experience in Web Server Service (static & dynamic pages, publishing);
- You have an excellent working knowledge of OpenSource (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Tomcat)
- Knowledge of Search Engine (IDOL7) is an asset, but not mandatory;
- You have experience in Scripting;
- You act as an outstanding team-player and can work independently;
- You have an outstanding customer-oriented attitude, you are service-minded and result-driven;
- You have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills and a creative and problem-solving attitude;
- You are fluent in English and French, both spoken and written;
