Description
My client urgently seeks a solid Deployment Engineer to work overseas in a technical team performing the global migration from Windows XP/Office 2003 to Windows 7/Office 2010.
The successful Deployment Engineer will have experience of at least 2 large rollout/migrations to and from the above technologies with the following additional skills:
1. Microsoft Windows server and Workstation operating systems, Active Directory, SCCM, Microsoft TCP/IP, DNS or similar.
2. Messaging systems and management tools, MS Exchange Server, MIMESweeper or similar
3. Communications - connectivity including networking technologies and protocols, wireless and mobile working, VPNs, satellite, etc.
4. IT Security - use of DMZs, encryption technologies, Backup Exec or other Backup system, Mcafee or other Anti Virus Product, development to standards, eg BS7799, OGC or similar and design knowledge to meet required standards for Data Protection, Computer Misuse, etc.
