Planning EngineerKey tasks and Responsibilities
-Develop bid plans and execution plans/schedules for FPSO new builds, conversion projects and modification projects
-Carry out analysis and benchmarking to optimize plans and schedules
-Carry out Schedule Risk Analyses using Primavera Risk Analyzer
-Monitor and update project progress
-Organize and prepare project progress reports, and support the project manager in monitoring, analysing and forecasting performance
-Preparation of mitigation/recovery schedules
-Participate in risk assessments and audits
-Take assignments at module yards/shipyards during construction phases
-Actively forecast and reschedule project plans and schedules, including formal baseline revisions
-Responsible for keeping the manpower projection plan updated, and inform cost controller of any changes.
-Close cooperation with Document Control and interface to ProArc Planning module
-Participate in shutdown planning for vessels in operation
-Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning planning
Qualification requirements
Education
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution.
Experience
-Strong engineering/construction experience within the offshore industry,
-Any prior FPSO experience will be greatly valued.
- International and multi-cultural experience will be preferred.
-Strong experience in planning software packages, in particular Primavera.
-Experience of P6.0 a distinct advantage
-The Planner must be proactive, seeking information and demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge
-Be originally trained and proficient in at least one relevant engineering discipline and have a thorough understanding of other relevant engineering disciplines
-Be familiar with engineering & project management systems
-Be familiar with shipyard and fabrication yard activities
-Be familiar with Commissioning and Offshore operations.
-Be fluent in oral and written English
