Our customer, a leading Consulting Organisation with a focus on the Resources Sector is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a background in Mining Business Process on a 12 month contract basis.
It is our understanding that for the first 6 months will be Fly In Fly Out to the customer site.
The person we seek will have a strong strategic analysis background, the ability to work independently and possess a strong background in Mining Business Processes. This role will be part of a project team reporting to a Programme Manager.
The skills, experience and attributes our client is seeking include:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define strategic business objectives and requirements to support the strategic business planning process;
- Undertake workshops with key stakeholders to gather information relevant to this project.
- Develop and refine business initiatives to ensure a strong and clear business case.
- Optimisation of business outcomes through best practice business process modelling and development;
- Business requirements project governance to ensure projects define requirements aligned with business objectives and outcomes; and
- Definition of project detailed business requirements.
- Strong Mining Business Process experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will enable you to quickly build rapport and trust, gain confidence, and effectively interact with a diversity of stakeholders across the business;
- A Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, or Engineering highly desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication.
