Description
We are a reseller of enterprise IT hardware (servers, storage, switches - data center equipment) and we're looking for talented, enthusiastic writers to contribute to our corporate blog.

Posts on our site should be of value to our existing and prospective clients - either by way of humor, empathy or insight. These articles should appeal to those who deal with IT hardware in their corporate server rooms or data centers such as Unix Admins, IT Managers, Networking Admins, Storage Admins, Server Admins, System Administrators and the like.

The ideal candidate would be familiar with enterprise IT hardware and the industry players at some level. This would help with an undertanding of IT hardware tech/geek humor or on serious evaluations of equipment or product lines.

All candidates must have a mastery of English and an understanding of grammar, pronunciation and spelling. The writer should have an excellent ability to organize information in a highly readable format. We're looking for writers who can balance some projects independently with some ambiguity, while also following very specific guidelines in other cases. An attention to detail and ability to deliver on time is a must. Plagiarism will not be accepted.

The types of posts we're looking to create each week include:
  • Short posts on industry related news, product releases or updates (2-4 a week at words).
  • Longer posts requiring research, curating information, interviews with IT professionals (1-2 a week at words).

  • We will work with our writer(s) on providing topics, but would also encourage the writer to provide ideas.

    How to apply
Please email your resume and links to at least 2-3 writing samples. If you have added capabilities to contribute (such as graphic design skills, experience creating infographics, screencasts, etc...) be sure to make mention of those, too.

Please let us know if you'd be interested in the short form or long form posts (or both) and what you would like to be paid for those posts as well as how often you are able to post each week.

Payments would be made via Paypal weekly for the first month, then every two weeks ongoing.
