Description
A key client based in Buckinghamshire is looking for a design/draughts person for a 6 months contract.
Role:
Production of BS8888 and/or equivalent manufacturing drawings for mechanical components.
Supporting in creating 3D models and images (eg exploded views) to support technical author in producing user and service manuals.
Responsible for managing the documents drawings, specifications, V&V docs, for a design team in a PDM document and structure electronic system.
Management for purchase requisition of prototype components and thereafter maintaining and serialising the prototype stock.
Skills Required
Solidworks Knowledge
2D manufacture drawing of mechanical precision components eg machined, small moulded parts
PDM system user, engineering document management and control
Electrical drawing experience
Exposure to medical engineering environment (additional useful Skill)
