Job Description
To function seamlessly as BAU Salesforce Technical team in both onsite and offshore locations by analysing existing technical architecture and providing technical solution, design, development and implementation support in salesforce.com in order to quickly meet the day-to-day business needs and to maintain the application as per the organization SLA for all the BAU requirements. Should have very good communication skills to understand the BAU business needs and to translate them into a technical reality within salesforce.com that is extendable and maintainable.
Key Responsibilities
- To comprehend BAU requirements and provide the technical solutions to meet the business needs.
- To work with the BSA/TSA/Functional leads within the organization to arrive and agree on an optimal solution and transform, develop the BAU requirements into design and implementation.
- To perform development, unit testing, implementation and documentation for all the BAU needs that relates to saleforce.com.
- To understand complex ETL and data migration business requirements and perform data migration to Salesforce.com as per the business needs.
- To implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, email alerts and templates and campaigns etc within salesforce.com to meet the BAU needs.
- To maintain multiples production user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules etc in the production environment.
- To effectively balance and prioritize multiple BAU requirements concurrently.
- To interact with the BSA/business users within the organization and ensure that their requirements have been met in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualification & Experience
- A proven functional and technical professional with at least 2 full life cycle SalesForce.com implementations and at least 5+ years' experience working with SFDC.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com development and experience with technologies that work with salesforce.com like JAVA, jscript etc.
- Strong SFDC knowledge and Integration components for SFDC (for example, SFDC APIs, SFDC data loaders, etc.) and knowledge in enterprise integration and ETL tools.
- Strong technical foundation including advanced structured programming, Java etc., understanding of RDMS concepts and structures, knowledge of SQL, structured system analysis and design methods etc to meet the quick BAU needs.
- Good understanding of data structures, data modelling etc. with proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of SFDC CRM software solutions.
- Very good experience in Onsite - Offshore model, should be a team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to meet the day-to-day business needs.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise issues related to overall IT architecture.
- Experience in defect management tools like Team track/quality center to track the BAU issues and coordinate with the business and analysis team.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in technology field or equivalent work experience.
