Contract GStreamer Software Development Engineer - 2 Month Rolling Contract - GlasgowDue to continued success my Client based in Glasgow, Scotland is looking for a GStreamer Software Development Engineer to join their Glasgow team. This is a rolling 2 month contract role with a start date outlined for April.
Duties of the role will include the following tasks; Be the client's GStreamer expert; Active member of the software team; Design and develop software delivering new product features; Ensuring consistent high quality deliverables through test and release; Software change management (defect resolution and enhancement requests) within the team and through prioritization.
The successful candidate will have GStreamer audio knowledge; ANSI C programming experience in an embedded ARM Linux Environment; Linux development as a career or hobbyist with Kernel exposure; Interest in audio and sound quality; Ethernet networking; C ++; Qt embedded development; Exposure to iOS/Iphone Application development; Exposure to Qt environment for Windows and MAC OSX.
