On behalf of our client, a prestigious International Telecommunications Company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a RAN Manager for a Contract Position based in the UK.

Job Description:
Under the general supervision of a Programme Director, oversee the successful delivery of telecom network deployment projects in the UK and Northern Ireland. Ideal with deployment and programme management experience in the area of mobile network delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the City Wide Common Cluster and Cell Planning Activities across the entire programme
• Manage the Radio Planning and Optimisation team
• Validate the Coverage provided by the list of sites in the award volume, and make recommendations as to their Keep / Non Keep, Capacity required, Frequency Plans, Pan/Tilt and other optimisation, etc conclusions
• Design and manage a Cluster Plan for the volume of sites awarded by the client, using the Cluster Planning Guidelines provided
• Gain Approval for such a Cluster Plan
• Manage the Frequency Plan (including and re-tunes)
• Monitor the 2G and/or 4G stability period
• All aspects of the RAN Technical programme & all RF planning activities
• Overseeing the final optimisation activities to confirm compliance
• Agreeing and documenting the RF/ Optimisation design guidelines and rules
• Understanding and documenting the RF/ Optimisation Tool requirements and usage
• Facilitate appropriate training across the project
Qualifications: Essential
• University degree in telecoms, electronic engineering or similar.
• Good knowledge of Telecommunication industry.
• At least 7 years successfully delivering telecoms projects in a matrix environment.
• Experience of designing a radio network
• Experience of optimizing 2G and 4G networks
• Experience of working with blue-chip clients.
• Professional structured approach to project delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Experience of managing sub-contract resource.
• Soft skills: Results focused, resilient, resourceful, supportive, open and objective.
• Ability to deliver, work and manage a multi functional team in a challenging, pressurized and fast moving environment
