Front End Developer, In-house, Nottinghamshire, £18,000-£24,000, ContractA very exciting opportunity has arisen within a well known retail company based in Nottinghamshire for a Front End Web Developer to join their team, for a 3 month fixed term contract.
This company is an international retailer that has become a household name within the sports and leisure retail industry.
They are now looking to take on a temporary Front End Developer to help
support both their e-commerce and media and digital team who will be responsible for designing/building content on all the company owned channels.
The successful candidates will have the following responsibilities:
? Brand site/market support ? create and build new pages on the international brand site
? Content support ? support their bi-monthly campaigns with the creation and build of content
? Email support ? help design and create weekly emails to consumers
? General digital imagery/graphics ? create images and graphics for the online store, brand site and social media
Required skills:
? A full, working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
? A working knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript-related frameworks (e.g. JQuery)
? A working experience of Flash
? Experience using content and e-commerce CMS systems
? SEO
? A good working knowledge of Adobe CS5
? An understanding of the technicalities of web hosting - including competence with FTP software
