My client based in Northampton is looking for a Graduate Developer to complete a 12 month fixed term contract with them onsite. The successful candidate will work with the MAPS Team (Marketing Analysis Planning System) on a global application where they will supply the company with testing and Development resource for this.

An IT-Relevant degree, or alternative qualification, is essential and our client believes it is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to get experience in a recognised brand for 12 months.

The ideal candidates will:

Be a developer who is able to work in conjunction with business analysts, project managers, IT Global Business Leads and Regional IT Teams to ensure the successful delivery of key business projects and implementations.
The developer will be responsible for analysis, design, testing and development of IT solutions which are fit for the business need.
Responsible for the implementation co-ordination and transition of new/modified processes into production
Responsible for updating and creating appropriate documentation alongside the implementation process.
Needs to have a broad commercial awareness, ideally has some work experience since graduation.
A good understanding of industry best practices.
Will need to have a flexible approach - Agile environment so will also get involved in testing as well as development.
