Our client is seeking an Experienced Web Applications Developer to join their team on site in Wantage, oxford. Responsibilites:
*Problem identification and solution formulation.
*Work with the Business Analysts to capture and develop proposals for application development opportunities in line with business strategy.
*Ensure rapid response to our internal customers on any system/application issues.
*Deliver applications/solutions from initial business requirements to delivery of final solution using the development framework
*Liaise with the SQL Administrator to define data requirements where necessary.
*In conjunction with the testers or the development team lead, define test plans and test scenario
*Share technical knowledge and competencies across the Technical Support and Development teams
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of developments, support processes and procedures.
*Ensure full compliancy to Sarbanes Oxley rules and to department standards (ISO)
*Work closely with the Support Analysts to ensure sufficient knowledge transfer, between operations and support, such that they can provide first level and second level support to the users
*Producedocumentation and systems documentation as appropriate
*Follow quality procedures in place and ensure compliancy with the defined Application Life Cycle Methodology in place
Required:
*A bachelor's degree in an IT or business subject
*Technical skills in .Net development (ASP.Net and VB.Net) and Microsoft SQL server
For the higher end of the salary band, applicants must also have:
*Experience of performing business/technical analyses
*Business process knowledge
