Our client is a highly innovative, government-funded organisation working to improve health outcomes. They provide high quality digital and telephony services that offer advice and information to the Australian public.
Operating since 2007, our client is in a high-growth phase, and is currently seeking an experienced Solution Architect within a major program of work.
You will have experience with delivery of End to End Solutions Designs and supporting documentation of both Tactical and Strategic end to end programs and projects. You will be working with the Business and Technical teams to align solutions to Enterprise Architecture and Product roadmaps and strategies.
In this role you will both take ownership and represent key technical teams across the Enterprise to ensure programs are delivered successfully.
Criteria:
- 5+ years experience delivering Solution Architecture ideally some in a new media/online/web environment
- Comprehensive experience in application/integration/data and system architectures
- Solution Architecture methodology development and implementation across large and small scale projects.
- Experience in a SOA environment with a background in software development and experience with agile methodologies and environments
- Some previous experience with search and content management
- A good understanding of application development
- Solid understanding in online digital content and cloud or virtualised based technology environments
- Strong understanding of infrastructure aspects of solution architecture including hardware, operating systems and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills
- Strong stakeholder and vendor engagement, management and influencing skills
- Extensive knowledge in present and emerging technologies
- Ideally some experience within the Healthcare domain
- Previous experience working in a mobile environment (iPhone, iPad, Windows Mobile, Blackberry or Android) is nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Some architecture qualifications ideally TOGAF
