A high profile Federal Government agency is seeking several Software Engineers to join their talented and dedicated team in Canberra for an initial 12 month contract. You will be responsible for the design, programming and testing of complex business specifications in Java. The successful candidates will make a positive contribution to team decision making on design issues and share knowledge with fellow team members
To be considered for the role you must meet the following criteria;
- Australian citizen
- At least 5 years of solid Java/J2EE development experience
- Experience with Perl
- Experience within government agencies with be highly desirable BUT not essential;
- Strong communications and interpretation skills;
- Ability to work within a team and work autonomously.
