Our client a Global Service Provider urgently seeks a Cisco CCIE level Security Expert (or Service Provider/R&S) with strong experience of tuning Cisco IDS/IPS systems as well as good, general all-round security expertise for reactive support as well as project work.The role involves Service Provider delivery of projects to strategic customers. Projects vary considerably between security reviews; design, implementation & support of Cisco security products; and involvement as part of virtual multi-discipline teams as the security lead in large-scale design and implementation projects.
Skills Required:
Extensive security experience is required. In addition expert level knowledge in network security including support and configuration of Cisco Routers, Switches and a wide range of security products is required.
In addition to Cisco products, good knowledge and ideally certifications on Juniper (Netscreen) Firewall products is sought for this particular role.
The candidate will possess expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment using security products from Cisco and other vendors. Very strong technical account liaison and customer management/consulting skills are mandatory.
