If you are an experienced Storage Administrator looking for your next contract then this could be ideal. SEC Recruitment are assisting our client in Helsinki, Finland with a requirement for a Netbackup Administrator. This role is for a minimum of 6 months rolling and is paying up to €400 Euros per day. We need someone from any part of the EU willing to work in Finland who posseses the following skill set.
Netbackup Administrator
Technical Requirements
- Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Fiber Switch/Director Hardware from Cisco, Brocade, or McData required (Zoning/VSAN/ISL setup )
- Hands-on Experience with TSM or Legato Networker would be a plus
- Familiarity with :
- IP Network
- WAN and LAN free (SAN) based data backup design and configuration
- Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as
Using virtual tape
Disk to disk to tape
Data replication
File System and Database Familiarity
Essential
Windows and/or UNIX administration,
SAN administration
Zoning and diagnostic skills.
TSM on AIX
- Experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
- Good documentation skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Including MS Project and Visio)
- Should have a great customer handling skills
- Able to handle unforeseen situations
- High level of acceptance
- Can drive the Company's value and its methodology
Other Skills/Experience
- Worked on Production systems
- Datacenter understanding

Total: 5-6 Years of experience
Relavant: Minimum of 3 years in Hitachi Storage Administration/Support
Minimum 1 year working knowledge on Veritas NetBackup Administration
Minimum 2 years experience on Unix and/or Windows systems administration
Certification requirements
- Storage Certification/ITIL
