- Managing, maintaining and upgrades of the Service Desk applications and Servers.
- Administering and supporting the operation of Unicenter service desk.
- Providing technical support to all Unicenter users.
- Defining and managing the access control and applications security for Unicenter service desk and its database.
- Supporting Unicenter availability and business continuity, including disaster recovery planning and recovery activities and system backup, data protection and failover.
- Integrating Unicenter with other IT systems in the ministry, including the Mainframe and web applications.
- Implementing and supporting Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, Service Level Management, IT Security Management and CMDB in Unicenter, as per ITIL framework.
- Training NIC staff on Unicenter, and creating custom training materials.
- Managing and maintaining the MS-SQL database of the Service Desk, and creating reports and KPIs
- Contributing to the technical write up of RFPs, and technical evaluation of proposals.
- Serving in various technical teams and workgroups and any other tasks as assigned by the direct manager or higher management
