Beacon Hill Technologies has a contract opportunity that is expected to last 10 months for a growing company in Olmsted Falls, OH. Candidates must be available for a face to face interview.
Job Details:
- Actively support a portfolio of projects from start to finish demonstrating strong communication & interpersonal skills and strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Ensure that software requirements are verifiable and quantifiable.
- Develop and execute documented test plans, use cases and document testing results.
- Development of business cases in association with the Business Analyst with consideration to business impacts and identified risks.
- Research problems using MSDN or other vendor documentation and sites.
- Audit requirements documents and compare to functional requirements.
- Create traceability Matrix or use traceability matrices in order to audit requirements.
- May test functionality in multiple browsers on multiple devices and document the results of those tests.
- Proactively provide project information to the Platform Manager, Project Manager and Developers regarding quality issues or defects. Update documentation when issues are resolved.
- Developing quality assurance processes and documentation and testing where needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
Associate's Degree from a recognized institution in Computer Science, Programming, MIS or related field required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or another related field is preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years related experience.
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office products (Expert in Word, Visio, and Excel).
- Experience with Visual Studio, Microsoft project and Total Foundation Software (TFS) a plus.
- Strong understanding of software projects and applications.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Understanding of .NET technology and data management systems.
