Description

Under general supervision, designs, develops and codes the most complex reporting components using IBI WebFocus technology.

  • Translate application reporting requirements into report mock ups, and subsequently WebFocus reports.
  • Develop reports targeting PDF, EXCEL, and HTML.
  • Develop, maintain, and unit test complex application reports using Developer Studio.
  • Create or update system documentation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask.
  • Transfer knowledge and transition work to the team.
  • Experience writing Compound Reports this is used for complex Reports which have more than one section (detail and summary) within the report.
  • Provide expert technical mentoring on the tools used for a specific project and how to get the most out of the tools.
  • Know specifics about technical issues and be well-versed in technical skills and show a willingness to transfer this knowledge to their peers.
  • Stay informed of industry practices and investigate new technological options that may be applicable.
  • Use and apply technical/business knowledge on both the job and future planning of job deliverables.
  • 5 + years experience with the IBI WebFocus tool including Developer Studio, Report Server and Report Caster.
  • Write meaningful complex documents such as program specifications and test plans. Documents should be clear, concise, grammatically correct, and require minimal editing.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, clients, Infrastructure support personnel, and other District personnel. Effectively and accurately track progress and report status.
