Laptopmag.com is seeking experienced tech writers for part-time news writing for the afternoon/evening shift. The right candidate has at least 2 years experience covering mobile technology professionally. Must be able to work independently, accurately, and quickly to turn around breaking news. Should have excellent writing skills and a nose for news. Will pay per post, subject to writers experience.

Qualifications:

BA or BS or equivalent experience

Preferred degree in communications, journalism, marketing or technical writing but open to other degrees as well

Required Skills:

Ability to assimilate information from a wide variety of sources

Strong organizational, analytical, research and writing skills

Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling

Ability to manage data and organize work

Aptitude for building effective working relationships and accomplishing tasksin a collaborative team environment

Microsoft Office-basic formatting and organization in Excel and Word, understanding of Outlook

Proofreading-for self and peers
