I am currently looking for safety case authors for major projects throughout the UK for a minimum of 12 months contract.Job Details

Responsibilities

Nuclear Safety Consultants are responsible for providing safety case advice during the design, operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities and for the production of all nuclear safety documentation as part of the Site Licence Conditions. Typical documentation may include:
  • Hazard/fault identification studies e.g. HAZOP, FMEA, etc.
  • Qualitative and Quantitative Hazard assessments.
  • Radiological hazard analysis.
  • Safety Case preparation (e.g. EC, PMP, PSR, PCSR, etc).
  • Safety management studies.


Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, skills or experience:
  • Good awareness of nuclear safety case production and hazard analysis
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Some experience of liaising directly with stakeholders and clients
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team


Additional Information
  • Travel to other company sites may be necessary.


Successful candidates will be required to undergo a security vetting process and offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted
