Description
Yor Key responsibilities will include;- Plan, coordinate, and design IT related activities of the organization.
- Provide ongoing development and maintenance of backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide ongoing improvements and maintenance of enterprise security architecture for the organization.
- Proactively evaluate, extend and improve infrastructure architecture.
- Develop and maintain enterprise level documentation of all IT policies, systems and networks suitable for review by external auditors.
- Participate in annual IT and compliance and security audits.
- Ensure all systems and networks are appropriately monitored to support customer SLA commitments.
- Collaborate with other technical and operations staff to deliver 24/7 after hours emergency support.
- Troubleshoot server and desktop hardware and software installation.
The Following skills and qualifications are desirable;
- Degree or Diploma in Computing Science
- At least 7 years as a Systems Administrator in a similar technical environment
- Expert knowledge and skills in Linux OS and related technologies
- Experience providing training and work direction is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analysis and problem solving
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and deal with multiple concurrent tasks.
