Our client, one of the largest investor owned energy companies in the world seeks a number of CDM Co-ordinators to work on multiple projects throughout the UK.
As CDM Co-ordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that the requirements of CDM Regulations 2007 are met across the entirety of the project. This will involve liaison with clients, designers and contractors and where appropriate 3rd party stakeholders.
You will facilitate the safety in design and construction processes, preparing and reviewing CDM deliverables including the F10, construction phase plans, health and safety files and pre-construction information. In addition you will conduct regular duty holder audits and work closely with client teams to agree minimum SHE standards during construction.
As Co-ordinator you will also carry out the role of SHE Advisor during the construction phase including regular site level audits, monthly performance benchmarking and statistical analysis.
Successful candidates will have at least an ONC and ideally an HND in a relevant engineering discipline. You will also have a NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
You will be able to demonstrate detailed understanding of CDM Regulations 2007. In addition it is essential that you have worked on large projects in the gas, electricity or utilities sector.
You should have a strong results focus, great communication skills and an ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and activities.
