Our client is seeking an experienced SAP BI Consultant to join their growing team on site in Belgium. Our client is a global giant in their industry, expanding through Europe and employ high calibre project teams to assist in their expansion. The SAP BI Consultant will be required to assist with our clients global customer environment and work within a team of like minded professionals assisting with driving the task team forward.
Required:
* 7 years of experience in both BI 3.5, and BI 7.0 in a global customer environment
* Strong experience in modelling, data extraction, complex transformations, DTPs, activating business contents and customizing based on business requirements
* In depth experience in ECC FI/CO/MM areas - G/L, CCA, PCA, accounts payable, and logistics with focus on finance
* Understanding of multiple currencies in BI reporting required
* Able to create and configure new cubes, DSOs, multi providers, process chains, open hubs and analysis process designer in addition to developing/maintaining Bex reports, web reports, and workbooks.
* Understanding of how delta works in BI is required and ability to fix errors in logistics Delta jobs
* Experience in analysis and performance tuning of BI production environment and make improvements to data loads
* Query performance, import/export swaps, NRIV buffering, partitioning, aggregates, indexing etc.
* Candidate must possess strong ABAP skills to write custom code based on business requirements and debug issues encountered in production
* Strong experience in development of SEM BPS Objects like basic planning areas, multi planning areas, variables (user-exit, fixed value replacement types), characteristic relationships, planning levels, planning packages, manual planning layouts, planning functions, parameter groups, local and global planning sequences.
* Development of custom currency conversion program and various data manipulations
* Able to write SEM Fox functions to perform system adjustments, reversals, delete, repost and copy plan data
* Experience in Business Server Pages (BSP) to develop file upload functionality and integrate with SEM Planning functions
* Experience in BI upgrade and migration of 3X to 70 objects, including Bex queries and web templates
* Currently, in the planning stages to migrate to BI 7.31 in fall of this year. Hands-on Experience with the new functionalities in BI 7.31 is a plus
* Experience in Performance/Load/Stress testing in BI, writing and executing Test scripts
* Perform lead role in all levels and aspects of BI development life cycle
* Able to translate requirements into BI development and configuration tasks
* Able to work independently, and take direct requests from functional contacts
