Businesstaff has been retained by a San Diego County client to locate them a Software Developer in a contract role. Select candidate will have a background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality Web applications on Microsoft technology stack. This person will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers and business resources to build highly-performing enterprise systems that improve automated factory systems for the automotive industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new functionality on our existing software products with .NET 4.x, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Data Services.
  • Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule.
  • Gather and document subsystem requirements.
  • Work with other departments to ensure the user interface capabilities meet company standards.
  • Able to document and execute test plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three (+) years working with Microsoft .NET platform including C#, ASP.NET and ADO.NET.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
  • Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • WinForms Experience, Microsoft TFS (Team Foundation Server), Work experience with database modelling, Experience with multi-tiered applications.

Contract rate is $45 to $55/HR and all the benefits of Southern California living. Local Candidates only.
