POSITION DETAILS
GTN Technical Staffing is looking for a UNIX Systems Admin to join a client of ours on a contract basis. You will be working in a shared hosting environment and be responsible for day to day operational support. In addition to supporting the existing environment, you will perform new server builds and perform system, network and capacity monitoring of development and production environments.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in the following skill sets
UNIX Administration (Expert-Level)
Scripting - Shell and Perl
Hardware Platforms - Sun or X86
Open Source Monitoring Tools - Nagios or Netlogger or Cacti
PREFERRED
Windows Server Administration
MySQL/PostGres SQL
Understanding of the SDLC
Virtualization technologies - VMware/XenApp
