Position: SIEM Windows Architect/Administrator
Contract Duration: 3-6 months

Rate €400 a day all inclusive
Position Overview
Position is for a Windows Administrator responsible for configuring a park of 50 internationally dispersed Servers and all required interfaces as part of a SIEM solution for a global bank.
The Windows Administrator will recommend and deploy the appropriate use of technologies into the production environment by collaborating with client's infrastructure and security teams as well as company onshore and offshore resources. The Windows Administrator will be the onshore interface to the offshore teams working in India.
Candidate must possess an understanding, at a detailed level, of technology dependencies in use within customer's international Information Technology environment. Candidate must be able to communicate with internal and external senior management confidently and demonstrate professionalism and communication excellence.
Candidate must be able to independently complete deliverables and solution implementation.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 2008
- Working knowledge of MSSQL, IIS, Mail transfer agents, FTP, and DNS
- Working knowledge of Network fundamentals
- The ability to problem solve and handle multiple tasks
- Must be detailed in documenting information and practice good follow-through techniques
- Familiarity with AD, IIS, SQL, Mail Systems, Windows Clusters, Networking, Security and Architectural design
- Tenacious problem solver, will own issues until full resolution
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal French and English with great attention to detail
- Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal departments and external customers
- A good level of business awareness and commercial acumen
- Extensive experience working within and supporting a Windows environment
- A solid understanding of Networking principles
- Understanding of IT industry working practices/methodologies - ITIL foundation certification desirable but not essential
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Computer related degree or certifications (ie, MCSA, A+, CompTIA, CCNA, CCIE) an advantage
- Financial services industry (Insurance, Banking, Investments)
- eIQ SecureVue experience
- Bilingual French/English - other languages appreciated
- Experience leading client discussions in English and French
- MCSE certification highly desirable
