Our client, a large financial organisation, are currently recruiting for an Executive Project assistant to be based in their Birmingham office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented individual to work on a brand new team which for the first time brings together accountability for the design, management and delivery of strategic transformation programmes in a key division of a leading bank.
Job Purpose
To provide high quality executive and administrative assistance to the Head of Programme Delivery.
Core Responsibilities
Manage and maintain diary, meeting logistics and travel arrangements
Liaise with offices of senior leaders to organise meetings etc
Answer and manage incoming calls
Monitor, screen with the ability to prioritise against urgent tasks to support Head of Programme Delivery and provide responses as requested by Head of Function
File and retrieve documents and reference materials
Provide support to Project Management Office team in terms of arranging meetings, logistics and other administrative support when requested by Head of Function.
Essential Skills/Experience
Strong experience of organising and providing executive administrative assistance in an office environment
Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
Good IT Skills - Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication (both verbal & written)
The ability to prioritise and multi-task
Able to remain calm but firm in all situations
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Adaptability to uncertain events
Flexibility and a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities working alone or as part of a team
Planning and Organisation skills - you will be required to take information from numerous sources and will be working to tight deadlines
