Software Support Analyst : 3 Months contract - AberdeenAbrecco are recruiting a Software Application Support Analyst on behalf of our Aberdeen based client operating in the Oil and Gas industry. You will have excellent communication skills, be self motivated with an ability to work to deadlines. Your skills should include but not be limited to:
Essential
- Experience of software application trouble shooting & problem solving
- Previous experience of software support from a development background
- Previous experience of working on Windows 7 system upgrade projects
- Windows Server Administration (Windows Server )
- SQL Server Support
- Educated to degree level in a numerate discipline.
Desirable
- Knowledge networking skills, TCP/IP, firewalls, subnets, switches
- ITIL certified
The successful candidate will have the ability to solve technical issues associated with a global Windows 7 roll out providing technical customer support, escalating issues where necessary, assisting with application testing and making recommendations for improvement.
