Description
Our client is seeking a Configuration Manager for an initial 6 month contract to work for a prestigious Federal Government!
Responsibilities:
- define the Configuration Management Strategy
- establish project configuration controls and processes, drive derivation of solution baseline from a configuration perspective and manage project standards, guidelines, templates.
- establish and manage change reporting and control procedures with project team, subcontractors and customer
- analysis proposed changes to solution and coordinates overall recording of modifications for management control.
- audit subcontractor technical documents to verify compliance with contract requirements.
- coordinate preparation, assembly and cataloguing of Technical reference material, design documents, background reference material and publications.
Experience:
- Experience as a Configuration Manager for large complex system integration projects delivered using a structured system engineering life cycle
- Extensive experience in configuration identification, control, auditing, status accounting including schemes, naming conventions
- Experience in the use of Configuration Management Tools for software and document configuration management
- Experience in the establishment and operation of configuration change boards
- Well-developed knowledge of software development and integration environment
- Experience with structured systems engineering methodologies
- Experience in managing and coordinating subcontractor configuration management
- High level written and verbal communication skills
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS who currently hold or are able to gain a BASELINE security clearance.
