Pharmaceutical company seeks an experienced Training and Development Manager for a 6 month part time contract, most likely 3 days a week.

Your responsibilities will primarily be developing and delivering sales force training interventions. Your focus will be on facilitating high quality disease, product and developmental training across the organization.

Working cross functionally as required you will create and deliver all initial training events in the relevant disease and product area. Working closely and proactively with Line and Regional Managers you will also be involved in identifying unmet and existing training needs and developing training interventions to satisfy these needs.

You will provide timely and regular feedback on events and individual performance working closely with team leaders. In addition you will support the talent management and succession planning processes, working across different stakeholder groups and supporting team and individual development.

As well as delivering training you will be responsible for managing the relevant training budgets as well as planning future events and delivering against training outcomes.

To be successful you will already be an experienced sales force trainer, ideally a graduate and will have experience in pharmaceutical sales. You will have a great knowledge of current NHS changes, key account management in particular and be recognized by your peers as a great coach. You should have both primary care and specialist care experience and experience in diabetes would be a distinct advantage.
