Description
RAN Design Engineer/Radio Design (RU20, RU30, UTRAN, 3G, LTE, RNC, Node B) required to work for the UK's leading Mobile Telecommunication Managed Service Provider in their Reading office.
The successful RAN Design Engineer will be working within the RAN & Transport Design delivering into major mobile operators in UK & Ireland.
Responsibilities of RAN Design Engineer/Radio Design (RU20, RU30, UTRAN, 3G, LTE, RNC, Node B);
- Working on technical design project to introduce RAN features, functionality and RAN SW releases such as NSN RU30, co-ordinate activities and drive the technical delivery across the different design teams, working closely with the project management function
- Perform technical reviews and impact assessments for delivery of RAN design activities against customer work requests
- RAN Interface design in a multi-vendor environment
Experience required from RAN Design Engineer/Radio Design (RU20, RU30, UTRAN, 3G, LTE, RNC, Node B);
- 3+ years in RAN Design
- 3G UTRAN, NSN RAN - RU20 and RU30
- 3GPP Radio Architecture
- Experience of customer facing technical roles
