Description
This well known QLD employer requires an experienced Master Scheduler to provide scheduling services to support their SAP project using ASAP or Prince2 project methodologies. This is a contract to start around the middle of April and go initially until the end of June with extensions until June 2014. This role is centrally based and paying an attractive daily rate.
Your duties in this role will include the following:
- Liaison with stream project managers to identify review and maintain schedule data including tasks dependencies, work effort and resources
- Monitor project progress against the master schedule and provide reports on project including forecast of schedule progress and milestone dates in consultation with project managers.
- Ensure all work conforms to the project standards and methodologies.
- Develop documentation, reports and presentations.
To be suitable, You must have:
- Proven knowledge and practical experience with implementing enterprise business systems
- Years of demonstrated experience as a Scheduler with at least two full SAP project schedule implementations
- Superior demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Project Management 2007 software (Project Server, Project and SharePoint).
- Demonstrated ability to create timely and accurate project reporting and documentation.
- Knowledge of ASAP or PRINCE2 Project methodologies
- Strong level of interpersonal skills, incorporating written and oral communication and experience in liaising and developing working relationships within a team environment.
