MS Exchange 2010 Support Engineer

Our client is preparing to migrate email and calendaring services from Lotus Notes/Domino to MS Exchange/Outlook 2010 for all of its approx. 8000 users. A global HA design has been made. This design has to be finalised, developed, tested and implemented. The implementation will run in an Account/Resource Forest topology based on a windows 2008 R2 environment. The services to be provided consist of assisting the team in the design, testing and implementation of the Exchange 2010 infrastructure and the actual migration of user mail boxes with Quest tools. Second level support and fire-fighting during the hot phase of the migration.

Key duties include helping with the installation, configuration and administration of the Exchange 2010 systems infrastructure and monitoring of the migration process for the individual user. Support for mobile devices of users (Blackberry, Apple, Android) will be required during the migration period.

Technical skills required include knowledge of Exchange 2010 Server and Office 2010 Client, experience with administration and support of the MS Exchange environment for > 1000 users, experience with Quest migration tools, Powershell knowledge and experience, including Scripting and strong verbal and written communication skills in English as all documentation has to be written in English.

This position is a daytime position but might require flexibility to perform system maintenance during evenings and weekends.
