Contract Opto-Mechanical Designer - Solidworks - Kent

Based in Kent, our client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer on an initial contract basis. Ideally the candidate will have a working knowledge of Solidworks or similar 3D design packages and have experience of designing precision instruments or optical components, whilst being able also to demonstrate experience of assembly. Aerospace or Defence background advantageous though not essential.

Key skills:
- Exposure of FEA packages (ANSYS or Solidworks Simulation)
- Experience in the use of Solidworks or similar CAD.
- Experience in Design of Optical or Precision instruments.
- Aerospace or Defence Background.
