The Job

The role of a Recruitment Consultant within an SThree brand is a professional sales role which can be demanding and require a degree of resilience however the rewards are enormous.

As a Recruitment Consultant you will be…
  • Canvassing for new business opportunities through cold-calling.
  • Winning new business by selling yourself and service over the phone to decision makers in a B2B environment.
  • Sourcing candidates through advertising, headhunting, networking and referrals.
  • Managing the whole interview process relaying feedback, selling candidates to clients and clients' opportunities to candidates.
  • Using your negotiation skills to secure and close the best deal for all parties.

On top of that SThree have a lucrative uncapped commission structure with no threshold. OTE in year 1 is between £25,000-£35,000 while year 2 is £35,000 to £65,000+. What we look for in our Consultants

Our Consultants come from a range of backgrounds and having recruitment experience is essential. However we do look for people with 12-18 months business to business, telesales or business development experience. An ideal candidate will have a degree and have experience working in to targets and KPIs. To be successful you need to have the following attributes:
  • A proven ability to sell.
  • An ability to think on your feet.
  • Motivation, determination and resilience.
  • Effective negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision makers.
  • The ability to build and maintain long term relationships in a business environment.
