Responsibilities
  • Provides support to technicians in troubleshooting complex equipment and application problems.
  • Repairs, rebuilds and replacement for a wide variety of computer equipment supporting a manufacturing facility.
  • Serves as a contact for setup/configuration, troubleshooting and networking of vendor applications.
  • Uses analytical skills to troubleshoot and maintain applications as needed.

SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with interruptions and multiple tasks occurring at once. Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. Experience in customer-focused environment. Three years experience in Networking/LANS, TCIP/IP protocol. Two to five years experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Advanced knowledge of Windows Operating system, Windows Active Directory, and windows Scripting. At least one year experience in maintenance and repair of office equipment: PCs and Printers. Ability to work with a diverse set of applications, including packaged software products and custom applications. Ability to work with vendors and troubleshooting complex architectures. Desired: Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches, Crystal Reports, Visual Basic and Visual Studio, including the use of program classes. Must be self motivated with high attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
