Description
The company's EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) IT team supports Ventyx PassPort, Documentum, Artemis ProjectView, and other bolt-on and interfaces to support Supply Chain and Work/Asset management systems across the enterprise. The applications are hosted on a wide-variety of platforms and development environments (MVS/Cobol/DB2, UNIX/Oracle, MS/SQLServer, IE6/8, Java, etc). The EAM team supports multiple small project efforts that range from platform upgrades to small-to-medium small enhancements to existing systems.This candidate will work in the role of EAM Small Project Manager. Immediate project efforts include CTA I&O Transformation upgrades (desktops, OS, virtual server migrations, etc.) that require application testing and remediation according to predefined schedules.
Responsibilities
- Manages projects according to company IT PMO Project standards and guidelines
- Initiates project, develops project plan, detailed requirements, design and specification documentation
- Identifies necessary temporary project staff - coordinates requisition/roll-off of temporary project staff
- Manages dotted-line maintenance team resources and dedicated project staff
- Manages project budget
- Designs interfaces as required
Has code developed, compiled and deployed as required to the development environments. - Works with the PassPort Technical Architecture team to implement any necessary table modifications, creation of CICS transactions, batch jobs, etc.
- Manages development according to the company's technical and project standards: technical peer review checklist; technical coding standards; and EAM Change Control standards
- Works directly with business and technical subject matter experts in developing and confirming the design
- Manages Unit/System Testing
- Manages user testing and defect resolution
- Prepares interfaces/application for production implementation, verifies production readiness
- Manages pre-deployment activities and documentation
- Provides post-production support
- Completes system turnover documents including, but not limited to: Update DR Documents (where applicable); Update BCP Documents (where applicable); Perform SLA updates (where applicable); Develop Operation Guides Updates; Develop User Guide updates; Develop Help Desk Scripts updates (where applicable); and Perform ARGIS (asset inventory) updates (where applicable)
- Provides weekly progress reports to EAM Director during scheduled status meetings and via status reports.
Must have 5-8 years of experience in the following:
Project Management, PMP or equivalent experience; Management of full IT software development life cycle; and Infrastructure deployments.
Desired Technical Experience (3-5 years):
Documentum; Ventyx PassPort 10.0.5/Asset Suite 5.0.5; Hyperion; Cobol; CICS; JCL; XML; IBM MQ Series; DB2; z/OS; Unix; Oracle; and Java.
