Role - Client Manager - Commercial Banking - Transaction Banking - London - £350/day

Purpose of the Programme
Our client, a leading UK retail bank requires the services of a Client Manager to work on a major change programme that is driving through new products to their commercial customers allowing much greater capability on their transaction banking/cash management and trade finance offerings.

Purpose of the role
The purpose of the role is to explain to customers face to face/by telephone the process and changes their accounts/customer service approach will undergo when migrated from the old system to the new proposition coupled with other planned changes. 

The five key Accountabilities/Deliverables are:

  • Fully understand the changes each customer in their portfolio will undergo. 
  • Develop a contact plan for their portfolio. 
  • Implement plan through engaging with customers (face to face or phone as appropriate) Record and manage progress using Customer tracker system
  • Escalate any issues raised by customers to programme where appropriate.

Core Skills
Successful candidates will come from a customer facing role within corporate/commercial banking having previously been dealing directly with the corporate customers.  In addition to this ideally you will have knowledge of trade finance/transaction banking as well.

Desirable Skills
Ability to adhere to processes.  Self motivated/managed.  Ability to prioritise workload.

Additional Information
As the customer journey is being looked at holistically, the Client Manager will also walk the customers through other changes that will impact them.  There is a possibility for strong performing candidates to extend beyond the original contract, possibly into 2015
