Description
Seeking a strong Certified Scrum Master (CSM) who has a recent Scrum Master experience using Agile methodologies including daily scrums, sprint planning and execution, and retrospectives. Should be able to show at least 2 years of strong Scrum experience as a CSM.Responsibilities
- Applies knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to the definition, planning and tracking of project activities to meet or exceed customer and stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Provides process and technical direction to project managers and others, which may involve acting as a scrum coach.
- Consults on and utilizes latest rapid development or other non-sequential project methodologies.
- Serves as subject matter expert on Agile development methods and processes.
- Oversees the day-to-day progress of project(s) and release initiatives with regard to time, budget, scope and quality.
- Provides leadership, direction and integrates activities with IT and Business to ensure successful implementation and support.
- Provides clear concise communication with project team and mid-level management
- Influences or negotiates with other functional areas
SKILLS
Must have hands-on experience managing a large, highly-visible and critical development project in the Finance industry. Preferable to have knowledge in any of Treasury systems for balance sheet management, asset and investment management, trading and risk management. Ability to manage projects in a fast paced, constantly changing Agile environment is required. Strong communication skills, verbal and written, are essential. Must have solid project management skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment. Knowledge of Clarity and Version One is a preferred. Must be experienced with co-located development processure to extreme programming (XP). Must have 3+ years in financial services industry, 3-5 years concurrently demonstrated ability with XP. Experience leading projects using formal project management methodologies preferred. Strong, demonstrated experience supporting requirements, data and systems analysis is highly preferred.
