My Dutch based client has an urgent requirement for a Microsoft Exchange 2010 System Engineer for an initial short term contract until the end of June 2013 but with the probability of further extensions.

The client is preparing to migrate email and calendaring services from Lotus Notes/Domino to MS Exchange/Outlook 2010 for all of its 8,000 users. A global HA design has been prepared and this design has to be finalised, developed, tested and implemented. The implementation will run in an Account/Resource Forest topology based on a windows 2008 R2 environment.

The role will include advising the team in the design, testing and implementation of the Exchange 2010 infrastructure and the actual migration of user mailboxes with Quest tools.

The successful applicant will be expected to advise on the installation, configuration and administration of the Exchange 2010 systems infrastructure, help to establish and maintain best practice standards for the configuration of a High Available and Redundant Exchange 2010 Server environment in combination with Office 2010 Clients and Users, help to set up proper monitoring, including availability, quality and health of the Exchange 2010 environment.

Candidates should possess in depth knowledge of Exchange 2010 Server and Office 2010 Client (especially in the areas of HA implementation and testing) setting up Exchange in a Resource Forest and securing the environment. In addition experience with administration and support of the MS Exchange environment for in excess of 1000 users, in depth Powershell knowledge and experience, including Scripting and knowledge of integration with Lync 2013 and Sharepoint 2010 are required.
