Description
A top financial firm in Boston is looking for a Business Analyst/ Business Systems Analyst to join their corporate actions team. This person will work with a global team of application support analysts, developers, testers, and program management staff. This person must be experienced using SWIFT messaging.This will be a 6+ month contract that they will be looking to extend or turn full time.
The rate will be based on experience and skill set, but they are looking to pay for a Senior Analyst.
Main Duties:
- Own the support relationship with business users and IT teams and external vendors.
- Identify and communicate user-driven improvements to both systems and processes.
- Act as the primary contact for IT teams and business users via SWIFT messaging.
- Gathering of requirements.
- Root cause analysis for all major incidents.
Qualifications:
- SWIFT messaging experience is critical.
- Corporate Actions experience is critical.
- Familiarity with XML is a plus.
- Must come from industry and have a general understanding of financial products and the finance market.
- Have a background in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis.
- Strong ability to work independently and proactively to build productive working relationships with other technology teams and business users.
