Finite Canberra has a Government Client that is seeking an Experienced Senior Delivery Manager. This is a contract role from the 1st of July 2013 to the 30th of June 2014.As the ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
Minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership role within an Applications Development area with project management methodologies;
Experience in managing complex projects;
Management experience with at least one of the specific technologies used on the job, as well as a background in either consulting or business management;
Experience in managing IT Staff;
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships, credibility and personal networks between the technology development function and business units;
Ability to negotiate and manage systems development scope and changes in the context of the business environment;
Ability to implement ITIL principles in workplace;
An excellent understanding of working with the business to align IT solutions with business needs;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to relate well with all levels of staff;
Excellent analytical, problem solving, consulting and coaching skills;
Excellent customer service skills.
Please note Candidates must be of Australian Citizenship to be considered. Baseline Vetting Clearance is also required.
