This would be a 12 month contract with the end client/customer being ATT here in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
Working closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams, the Information architect will be responsible for the creation of end-to-end information and data strategy for the mobile commerce platform. This role requires a team player who is well versed in large scale commercial software development; is organized and detail oriented; and able to deliver results on-time and within budget. It also requires the candidate to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external teams - vendors, business development, sales, marketing, partner and oversea engineering team and more to ensure product, revenue and satisfaction goals are met.

Duties:
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Involved with all aspects of the SDLC: Design, Documentation, Implementation, and Delivery
Analysis and programming of mobile applications
Debugging and enhancements of existing applications
Participation in code reviews and code analysis wrap ups
Implementation and fundamental understanding of business rules
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years' experience with mobile application architecture, frameworks and development methodologies with solid programming abilities in Android application development along with knowledge of IOS iPhone development
  • 4-5+ years' experience as a software design engineer through all phases of the software development life cycles
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology
  •  2+ years of strong development experience with UI design, Java/J2EE, Database (MySQL, Oracle), HTML5, and Web technologies
  • Excellent understanding of best practices in programming, design patterns, OOP and computer science research.
  • Ability to take creative and technical direction and develop concepts based on those directions
  • Proven ability to function well in a team environment
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Must be proactive, self-directed, self-motivated, detailed, quick learner and organized
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
