Description
Firmware Developer joining a global semiconductor organisation contributing to the development of audio and hearing instruments on a contract basis in Belgium.The Firmware Engineer will develop an ultra-low power RF transceiver device optimized for usage inside hearing instruments architectures. Specific to this product is the power management unit, switch matrix, i/f Bluetooth and HAL / HCI.
Role Description:
The position of Firmware Engineer will encompass tooling, driver development, customer application examples and regression tests. HCI, HAL, drivers ISV provides Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) stack to be integrated
Essential Skills Required:
* Low level software and driver development
* Tooling in Visual studio with C#
* Object Oriented
* Hardware knowledge ARM cores, preferably Cortex
* C programming.
* Experience with network protocols, ex. BLE or ANT
* Excellent communication skills are required - frequent customer interaction.
This is an initial contract until the end of the year working with innovative and cutting edge technologies.
