My global medical device client in Goleta is seeking a Sustaining Engineer for a 2 year contract role with a possibility to go full time during the contract.Sustaining/ Manufacturing Engineer:
- Injection molding
- Look at parts, look at tooling drawings, tool design
- Provide supplier feedback and let them know what to do to prevent errors and quality issues.
- Transferring large volume of molds to suppliers
- Strong interaction with suppliers
- Reviewing and troubleshooting existing molds
- Buying in components
