Role description: Network engineer -
(Radio Design - air interface 2G&3G & LTE)Purpose
The main purpose of the role is to be part of the Service Delivery, by representing Networking and Technology Consulting mainly in the delivery of standardized services within Network Roll-out and Managed Services using established methods processes and tools.
Responsibilities The main responsibility is to ensure that all solution deliveries to customers are made in a professional manner, achieving customer satisfaction and securing profitability for our clients.Depending on the applicable functional skill, the responsibilities are:
Participation in customer projects (Radio Coverage review - special roll out example U9)
Collection and analysis of customer requirements
Perform Network Design and Planning at cellular level in order to contribute to regional coverage and quality of service by
issuing, discussing and/or implementing design recommendations (areals configuration models, ) for network enhancement
Ranks and select from a radio perspective the best site candidates and radio parameters (areal configurations) for new sites, attends technical visits (drafts), validates technical drawings, prepares site acceptance scorings, defines radio equipments to be installed within a pre-defined validated list (technical site specifications) and defines parameter settings concerning the sites in the region.
Capacity handling of new sites.
On request of customer perform specific studies to be compliant/improve the design of network (3V/m restrictions, coverage maps, )
To correlate design of all technologies GSM/UMTS/LTE
Clean-up of database-simulation tool ASSET. Focus on inconsistencies. (antenna checks )
