Harvey Nash has an excellent opportunity for a junior professional with academic and/or work experience in online/digital marketing/advertising/content creation or junior web design/development. Prior experience with HTML5 highly preferred!
You will be joining one of our top clients for the duration of 6 months. The company is a leading global provider of search & advertising platforms online with additional portfolio of online services and products. State of the art facilities and awesome culture (far from general corporate office environment).
You will assist the team with the creation, localization, and maintenance of screenshots and infographics to help illustrate user actions and make our client's product easier to understand and use. You may also assist with the formatting and implementation of user-facing content in our online help center. This includes working in our content management system to create, edit, and publish content.
Responsibilities:
- Capture screenshots as supplementary help to explain our online advertising product, customize them to highlight the essential details for users, and replicate them in 43 languages.
- Manage library of screenshots in 43 languages available to content editors to facilitate maintenance.
- Create general graphics and infographics in Illustrator together with designing templates replicate them in additional languages.
- Provide HTML formatting for articles in line with established style guidelines, implement minor code changes to existing content and input pre-written articles in XML templates.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously.
- Familiarity with using content management systems.
- Proficiency with HTML5 and content formatting essential.
- Functional knowledge of XML; familiarity with XML editors necessary.
- Functional knowledge AdWords.
- Familiarity with Dreamweaver is a plus.
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator and other image editing programs is a plus.
- Knowledge of CSS a plus.
- Proficiency with designing web graphics is a plus.
