Description

Reservoir Engineer is currently needed for a publicly traded independent oil and gas company. The company focuses on offshore GOM and onshoreTexasandLouisianaproperties.

Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Reservoir Engineers and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to use petroleum engineering principles to solve problems and identify enhancement opportunities
  • Strong background in reservoir engineering with exposure to reservoir simulation
  • Good overall practical oilfield operations knowledge with special emphasis on on-site well testing and PTA
  • Expertise in working with geoscientists, and production and facilities engineers
  • Proficiency in using PC and expertise in using commonly used reservoir engineering software; economic evaluation software such as PHDWin or Aries; must be familiar with risk analysis software Crystall Ball or @RISK, expertise in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) software
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working in multi-disciplinary and multi- cultural project teams
  • At least seven (7) years of well-rounded oil & gas industry experience working in multi-disciplinary teams adding value to the assets through capital investment, and application of solid reservoir management skills, is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent, is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
