Seeking a lead Service Management Consultant/Architect/Designer for work in Brussels. Immediate starter (or as close to as possible) required. The project may initially be short term but equally could end up being much longer term. The work is part of an ongoing bid bid for providing centralised and localised IT Services for Service Desk, Deskside Support, Workstation Admin, Logistics, and Application Support. Candidates from a Managed Services background are of particular interest, as are those with previous bid/costing experience.

There are four key workstreams as part of the bid

  • Lead a the capability of Service Management
  • Lead the capability of Contract, Project and Account Management
  • Support the work-stream of Service Management Tooling
  • Support the work-stream of Consortium IT

Areas of interest/Skills:

  • Service design
  • Costing of services
  • Knowledge of Desktop Management and Build Management, ideally using LANDesk
  • Knowledge of Local System Admin activities
  • Knowledge of Lifecycle Asset Management and ideally Logistics
  • Ability to integrate solution elements from different areas/companies into a coherent solution
  • Writing up of a service and technical solution
  • Experience of working on bids, leading a work-stream and bid writing
  • Knowledge and understanding of Service Management tools
  • quality standards (eg ISO20000, ISO9001, ISO27001)
  • IT governance
  • ITILv3
  • PRINCE 2
  • Social IT trends, along with knowledge management and collaboration

NOTE: £450 per day sterling (£) is base rate. Expenses paid in addition.
